The Altar of Guthix is the centerpiece of the stone circle at Taverley. As this is the last surviving circle under Guthixian control, it is incredibly important to the druidic order. The altar is overseen primarily by Kaqemeex, an important druid within Taverley.

Every year during the summer, the druids get together to perform a ritual to Guthix, which helps maintain balance and protect nature from evil, corrupting spirits. This involves making offerings to the altar, which the player could help complete the ritual by figuring out the correct offering during the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Midsummer events.

Praying at the altar while wearing a full set of initiate armour is a task in the medium Falador diary.

• The altar is visually indistinguishable from the Dolmen.
