The Fremennik Way is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to kill Vorkath without any weapons.

This achievement can be completed simultaneously along with Stick 'em With the Pointy End.

The player is allowed to use armour (including a defender or a shield) for this task, any attack style , and use the Crumble Undead spell on the zombified spawn (though it must be manually cast on the spawn - equipping a slayer staff or casting a spell on Vorkath himself will fail the achievement). Note: Recoil damage will fail the achievement. A ring of suffering (ri) may be used for its defensive and prayer bonuses, but its recoil effect must be toggled off. When not dodging fireballs you should face hug Vorkath for maximum DPS and tank his melee attacks. It is recommended to maximize crush accuracy, strength bonus and to have a blue dragon or zombie task for the slayer helmet bonus – due to the lowered attack bonuses, a slayer helmet with an amulet of rancour is much more effective than a Neitiznot faceguard with a salve amulet. Attack style should be set to accurate, unless a max hit is gained from using aggressive.

It is also highly recommended that you know how to perform the Woox Walk before trying to do this task, as it will shorten the kill time. With best-in-slot gear, the kill should take around 10 minutes.

Note, you may splash the Crumble Undead spell if your magic attack bonus is -64 or below, so it may be useful to bring a piece of magic armour (e.g. Ancestral robe top) when casting. Blood moon armour and tassets can also be used if you want to avoid bringing a switch, as it has relatively small magic attack penalties.

Your inventory should consist of 3-4 super combat potion, 14-16 Saradomin brews, 1 Extended super antifire potion, 1-2 anti-venom+, 6-8 super restores and a rune pouch containing the runes for Crumble Undead (air, earth, chaos). You may also want to bring law runes to escape or reset, either by using a divine rune pouch or replacing air and earth runes with dust runes.

There are 11 Combat Achievement tasks (totalling 55 points) available for Vorkath.

• As unarmed combat is considered melee, completing this task will also complete Stick 'em With the Pointy End if the latter has not been completed.
