Extended Encounter is a master combat achievement which requires the player to kill Vorkath 10 times without leaving his area.
Strategy
Saradomin brews and super restore should fill the player's inventory instead of the typical solid food and prayer potions that would normally be brought, as Vorkath does not drop any unnoted food or potions to prolong trips.
If you're opting for a melee approach, here's a tried-and-tested strategy:
- Wear a slayer helmet and be on Slayer task to kill blue dragons.
- Equip an amulet of blood fury, which provides a passive chance for life leech on melee attacks.
- Utilize the special attack of the Bandos godsword to reduce Vorkath's Defence.
- Equip a dragon hunter lance, a fire or infernal cape, a Bandos chestplate or Torva platebody, Bandos tassets or Torva platelegs, a dragon or avernic defender, barrows or ferocious gloves, primordial boots or avernic treads, and a Berserker ring (i) or ultor ring.
- For consumables, bring 3 super combat potions, 1 extended anti-venom+, 1 extended super antifire, 1 prayer regeneration potion, 7-8 super restores, 11-12 Saradomin brews, and optionally a sanfew serum.
- After each kill, prioritise drinking your brews, super restores, and super combat potions to replenish your stats.
- During the acid phase, employ the "Woox walk" technique and remember to deactivate Protect from Magic.
With this setup, assuming your combat stats are nearly maxed, you should have around 5 Saradomin brews and 1.5 Super Restore potions remaining after 10 kills, leaving plenty of room for error. Change your inventory as you deem necessary; individual performance will vary. To maximize inventory efficiency, you should bank at Lunar Isle to have direct transportation to Rellekka.
