The Walk is a master combat achievement which requires the player to hit Vorkath 12 times during the acid special without getting hit by his rapid fire or the acid pools.

Completion of this achievement is calculated per acid phase, not per fight. As such, failing once does not prevent the player from attempting again during the same fight. Additionally, every attack counts towards the required 12; they do not need to deal damage.

There are two ways to complete the achievement; both require usage of the Woox Walk:

1. Stand as far from Vorkath as your weapon range allows (leaving 4 rows between the player character and Vorkath, 3 rows between the character and the exit). A ranged weapon with a two-tick attack speed such as the toxic blowpipe or throwing darts is mandatory for this to work.
2. Keep count of Vorkath's attacks, prepare to act on the seventh attack.
3. On the same tick as he launches the special attack, move backwards one tile diagonally.
   1. At this point, there are two possible causes of failure: the special attack may have been a freezing attack, or acid may have landed on the tiles used for Woox-walking. In either case, it is still possible to complete the achievement in the next acid phase.
4. Immediately begin Woox-walking by alternating clicks on Vorkath and backwards on every tick. Players can use the sound of Vorkath's attacks to help maintain the correct rhythm, as they occur every tick.
5. The achievement should be awarded just as the phase ends. With the Combat Achievements Tasks - Failure setting turned on, the player will receive a message for being struck by a fireball or for stepping on acid, but not for performing fewer than 12 attacks.

Players can use the following strategies:

• Two dragon claws specials, which lands 8 hits, and thus needing 4 more hits from other weapons. Notably, you can combine this method with methods below (e.g. two dragon claw specials, and 2 hits with Dual macuahuitl).
• A scythe of vitur for two hits, with two specials from dragon claws
• Usage of the dual macuahuitl, glacial temotli, earthbound tecpatl, or sulphur blades, though the player must have the weapon equipped before the acid attack starts.

There are 11 Combat Achievement tasks (totalling 55 points) available for Vorkath.

• The name of this achievement is a reference to the term "Woox-walking", the commonly used name for this method popularised by the player Woox.
