Professor Oddenstein is a mad scientist who lives on the top floor of Draynor Manor. He is a central character of the Ernest the Chicken quest, and minder of the Interdimensional rift for the Killerwatt plane. Ava works as his assistant.

As the killerwatt's flickering has been toned down, the epilepsy warning Professor Oddenstein gives when attempting to enter the interdimensional Rift has been removed.

Trivia

  • He appears to resemble the real life theoretical physicist, Albert Einstein.
  • In the RuneScape 3 version of The Curse of Arrav, the examine text of the Caged Killerwatt says it came from "Oddenstein industries", indicating that the professor is selling Killerwatts. This examine text was not present in the Old School version of the quest, leaving it unclear if it is still the case in Old School.
