The pressure gauge is a quest item used only in Ernest the Chicken. It is found submerged in the waters of the piranha-infested fountain in the south-western area of Draynor Manor. To get this item, the player must kill the piranhas using poisoned fish food. If the player does not use poisoned fish food, the piranhas will deal 1 hitpoint of damage.

It is one of three items needed to repair Professor Oddenstein's machine along with an oil can and a rubber tube, so he can turn Ernest back into a human. Duplicates can be obtained with the drop trick and searching the fountain again. Upon completion of the quest duplicates are destroyed and it can no longer be obtained.
