The Halloween scarecrow is a holiday reward received from completing a Halloween event from 2024 onwards. It can be planted on any free non-hotspot space in the Garden or on any free outdoor space of a player-owned house; the tile the player is facing must be empty in order to plant it.

The scarecrow, like the carved pumpkin head, can be customised in the same way by choosing the "Change" option when it is planted. Additionally, crows can also be summoned to perch on top of it if desired.

If lost or destroyed, the player can obtain another from Diango in Draynor Village.

The player invites a murder of crows, and then shoos them shortly after.
