A Halloween mask is a tradeable rare item. They were originally released during the 2002 Halloween event in RuneScape. Halloween masks can be obtained in Old School RuneScape by completing a Halloween event, given in the form of a halloween mask set. If lost upon death, Diango will not supply the player with another, with the exception of the black h'ween mask.
Halloween masks (with the exception of the black h'ween mask) are tradeable, and after the 2002 Halloween event, they could not be obtained by any method other than trading with another player. Because of this, in the original RuneScape game, they used to be bought and sold very often for high prices. However, due to their ease of obtaining one in Old School RuneScape, they are of relatively low value now.
Before the 2013 Halloween event, it could only be obtained from picking one up from various spawn points around the world during 16 June - 22 June.
