Ancient Strength is a prayer from the Ruinous Powers prayer book, unlocked at level 61 Prayer. It can be used by selecting the Ruinous Powers relic in Trailblazer Reloaded League or by purchasing the Ruinous powers book in Deadman: Annihilation.

Ancient Strength gives a temporary 20% boost to a player's Attack and Strength. This makes it a slightly inferior version of Piety, having no boost to Defence and 3% less Strength, but with no Defence requirement and a lower Prayer requirement to use.

The prayer was originally available to use on a beta world as part of the DT2 Rewards Beta after having passed the relevant consultation poll, where players could playtest it in various content before a second poll was brought forward to ask players whether they'd like the prayers to be implemented in the live game as a reward from completing the quest Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire.

• Ancient Strength was originally proposed to give only a +20% boost to Strength, while another prayer, Ancient Precision (with the unused icon as ), would give only a +20% boost to Attack. Ancient Precision was merged with Ancient Strength after having passed the relevant consultation poll.
