Protect Item is a prayer from the Ruinous Powers prayer book, unlocked at level 65 Prayer. It can be used by selecting the Ruinous Powers relic in Trailblazer Reloaded League or by purchasing the Ruinous powers book in Deadman: Annihilation.

Aside from the 10x higher drain rate and activation sound, it is identical to the standard Protect Item prayer.

The prayer was originally available to use on a beta world as part of the DT2 Rewards Beta after having passed the relevant consultation poll, where players could playtest it in various content before a second poll was brought forward to ask players whether they'd like the prayers to be implemented in the live game as a reward from completing the quest Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire.

• The prayer's icon was originally visible within the game cache, but was left unused until the second DT2 Rewards Beta.
