A teak portal can be built in the Portal space of the Portal Chamber in a player-owned house. It requires 50 Construction to build and gives 270 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

It can be assigned to teleport the player to various locations, such as Varrock or Falador. To do so, a payment of 100 times the required runes for casting the teleport spell is required.

Removing an old portal frame to upgrade it to a better one will not delete the teleport. The teleport will automatically be reassigned to the new frame.
