The teak garden bench can be built in the seating space of the superior garden in a player-owned house. It requires 66 Construction to build and gives 540 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Teak garden benches are a popular way of training Construction for ironmen, as they are a middle ground in cost effectiveness between oak and mahogany, and teak logs are easy to obtain in bulk from Miscellania or by using Ape Atoll Teleport to cut the teaks in the southern part of Ape Atoll, using a house tab for banking by giving them to the butler, requesting him to deliver them to the sawmill. Alternatively, Players who have completed Song of the Elves will gain access to three teak trees located directly next to the sawmill in Prifddinas.
