The love crossbow is a fun weapon unlocked by speaking to Gilbert in the flower field south-east of Barbarian Village, after which it can be obtained from Diango or retrieved from a toy box built in the costume room. It was originally received as a reward for completing the 2023 Pride event.

Despite resembling a crossbow, it is in fact a two-handed melee weapon, and as such cannot be used to fire bolts or mith grapples. Like the goblin paint cannon, ham joint, swift blade, and mystic cards, the love crossbow is one of the few melee weapons to possess an attack speed of 3. However, due to hefty offensive penalties similar to those of the mystic cards, it is not advised to train with it.

Whilst having the crossbow equipped, other players will have a right-click "Enamour" option listed in their choose option menu. Doing this will result in the player firing a "love" bolt towards the target, causing hearts to appear around the player and their target. This deals no damage, and can only be done if the target is at least one tile away from the player.
