Gilbert is a leprechaun who tasks the player with helping him celebrate colour in Misthalin.

Gilbert first appeared on Old School RuneScape during the Gilbert's Colours pride event in 2017, and was discontinued following the event. Gilbert returned to Gielinor permanently exactly 5 years later, as part of the 2022 Pride event.

He now tasks the player with collecting various colourful plant seeds from flower traders to create a rainbow flower display. For completing this, the player is rewarded with a rainbow flower crown alongside the previous event reward, the rainbow scarf, if not already obtained. Following the event, Gilbert permanently remained to offer both the rainbow flower crown and the scarf.

During the 2024 Pride event, Gilbert knights Kit Breaker as Sir Kit Breaker, making them the protector of the Glade. Upon doing so, he makes himself, Kit, and the player a rainbow cape to wear.

• The NPC is a reference to Gilbert Baker, an American artist, gay rights activist, and designer of the rainbow flag, which is associated with LGBTQIA+^[a] rights causes and a symbol of gay pride.
