The Weiss squirrels are a species of white squirrel who live in icy lands.
Players can feed acorns to make squirrels follow them. They will not leave their wandering distance.
Trivia
- Weiss squirrels had a festive override wearing a santa hat during the 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Christmas events.
- One squirrel resides at the centre of the Ghorrock fortress.[1] It cannot be accessed or seen through any normal means, but it can be found when exploring the game's cache using third-party world mapping tools.
- The arctic squirrels were added to the Weiss area for the sole purpose of being able to name a troll in a way reminiscent of the Harry Potter character Quirinus Quirrell, as a set up for a satirising reference during the events of Making Friends with My Arm.[2]
