Turoth can be assigned as a Slayer task from Vannaka, Nieve/Steve, Chaeldar, Konar quo Maten, or Mortimer, requiring 55 Slayer and 60 combat. They are melee based, and as such Protect from Melee will negate all of their damage. They are only found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon.
Turoth can only be damaged with leaf-bladed weapons, broad arrows and bolts, or the Magic Dart spell. Attacking with any other weapons or spells will always deal 0 damage.
The superior variant is the spiked turoth; the Bigger and Badder Slayer reward must be unlocked for it to spawn.
Due to their high herb drop rates, it is recommended players bring a herb sack with them for the task if they have one.
