Pink dye is a members-only dye. It is initially created as part of The Hand in the Sand quest by using redberries and white berries on bottled water. It can then be used on a lantern lens to make a rose-tinted lens, which is also required for the While Guthix Sleeps quest.

After completing The Hand in the Sand, players can buy more of it from Betty in the Magic Shop in Port Sarim for 20 coins each. The dye does not appear in her usual store, and can only be bought through dialogue with her.

Pink dyes can be used as an ingredient to train Construction and Farming through building Zen themes, costing only 3GP/XP and giving up to 252k experience per hour in both Construction and Farming. Buying a full inventory of pink dyes from Betty and depositing at the Port Sarim deposit box takes between 1 minute and 45 seconds up to 2 minutes, obtaining up to 800-925 pink dyes per hour.

Pink dye cannot be used to dye a blue or black skirt into a pink skirt.
