Phosani's Speedrunner is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to defeat Phosani's Nightmare in under 6 minutes.
Strategy
Good gear is practically required for the achievement. Scythe of vitur with Inquisitor's armour is highly recommended, but an Inquisitor's mace or Soulreaper axe will suffice to make time. For the totems, full magic switch and a Tumeken's shadow are also highly recommended. Although very unlikely, it is realistically possible over hundreds of kills with an abyssal bludgeon and trident of the swamp as well, although this requires good execution of mechanics, a great deal of luck and not wasting time where available (such as eating while attacking). A Crimson kisten or Voidwaker can be helpful for the special attack for its consistency and high damage.
There are some strategies that may be used to save time beyond standard execution and minimising time wasted:
- Using a scythe of vitur to deal the finishing blow on the last totem of each phase; this causes it to register as charged one tick sooner due to the overkill hitsplat
- Using a ham joint on husks and elder maul/godsword (on crush) on the parasites to immediately kill them with minimal ticks wasted
- Using a lightbearer to perform additional special attacks in the overall fight, Death Charge on husks, parasites or sleepwalkers and bringing an ultor ring switch.
- Running to where Phosani's Nightmare will be after her surge attack to resume attacking her immediately
As the boss is located in an instance, players going specifically for this achievement may opt to reset the fight if the start is slow.
