Mosquito swarms are monsters fought during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. Outside of the minigame, mosquito swarms and their variants are killed for their proboscides, which have uses in several quests or skilling activities.

Using insect repellent on a swarm will prevent it from attacking for six seconds, as well as cutting its combat stats in half. This can be done repeatedly, until its stats are reduced to level 1.
