Men are citizens of West Ardougne. They are similar to men found throughout Gielinor, but can only be attacked and talked to, and not pickpocketed. Their appearance is slightly different, in keeping with the theme of West Ardougne supposedly being afflicted with a plague, and their dialogue is slightly different, reflecting their plight under Mourner rule.

They are found near the civilians, children, and women, as well as other non-attackable men.

• There is an unused variant of the Man who cannot be spoken to or attacked. Unlike the normal variant, he was not graphically updated when the Plague City quest was reworked in 2006.
