The lumber patch is used in the Trouble Brewing minigame to repair hoppers which have been burnt by other players. It can take up to three patches to repair a hopper, depending on how long it was on fire for. At the start of each game, 10 lumber patches are stocked in the tool workbench, and crafted lumber patches can be used on the workbench to store them within it.

Lumber patches can be crafted by using a regular log on the large workbench. Logs can be gathered from the log store within your team's base, or by chopping down the various trees around your base with an axe. Scrapey tree logs cannot be crafted into lumber patches. Creating a lumber patch rewards 12.5 crafting experience, and using it to repair a hopper rewards the same amount.

Pipe sections can be used to repair Hoppers in Trouble Brewing.
