Sweetgrub Mounds can be found all over the area inside the Trouble Brewing minigame.

Raw rat meat can be used on the mounds to collect sweetgrubs, with 40 Hunter experience being awarded for each sweetgrub successfully collected. When attempting to draw out some sweetgrubs from a mound, there is a 1/5 chance that the mound will empty out and collapse.^[1] Players will have to find another mound or wait for it to fill again.

If the mound does not collapse after the player uses their meat on it, there is a further 1/5 chance that a swarm of sweetflies will be drawn out instead. The sweetflies will continue to attack the player until they run away, as they cannot be attacked in retaliation. No one can gather more sweetgrubs from the mound while there are still sweetflies present.
