Elemental metal is a metal bar that is used in the quests Elemental Workshop I and Elemental Workshop II. It is made by using one elemental ore and four coal on the furnace on the south side of the first floor of the Elemental Workshop. Each bar must be made individually.
The elemental metal can be used to make an elemental shield or an elemental helmet. During Elemental Workshop II, it is also used to make an elemental claw and is processed into a primed bar in the second level of the Elemental Workshop.

Trivia
- Elemental ore can only be smelted into bars at the Elemental Workshop. Attempting to use any standard furnace produces the message: This furnace is not hot enough to smelt elemental ore. Attempting to instead cast Superheat Item produces the message: Even this spell is not hot enough to heat this item.
- Oddly, attempting to smelt it at the Blast Furnace produces the message: There would be no point in smelting that.
