A display case containing an old coin can be found on the ground floor of the Varrock Museum (ground floor, southern-most row, second from the left). The display case is empty before using the old coin on it.

An old coin can be found by cleaning uncleaned finds after completion of The Dig Site, dropping at a rate of 1/17 upon successfully clearing one of soil. Filling display case number 45 of the timeline exhibit will award the player with 10 kudos.

Display number 45

A coin in very good condition with Saradominist markings. It bears the word 'Saranthium', which we have found to be the name of the city being excavated east of Varrock. The numbers on the coin would indicate that it is from the year 3804, presumably from the 3rd Age as the Godwars were coming to an end.
