A display case containing an ancient symbol can be found on the ground floor of the Varrock Museum (ground floor, second row from the south, in the centre of the row). The display case is empty before using the ancient symbol on it.

An ancient symbol can be found by cleaning uncleaned finds after completion of The Dig Site, dropping at a rate of 1/17 upon successfully clearing one of soil. Filling display case number 37 of the timeline exhibit will award the player with 10 kudos.

This small symbol was used as a decoration on the Saradominist altars throughout the city. Two or three examples have been found, but this is the best. Worked in blue-enamelled bronze, it has not survived the ages well. We believe this to be from the early years when the city was still being built.
