| Description | Willow, an energetic archaeologist (perhaps suspiciously so) is hunting for her next big discovery. She believes she has found the entrance to ancient underground ruins found to the west of Ice Mountain. There's a catch though - the entrance is sealed tight and she needs to re-unite her old crew to help her break in. Naturally, she has to stay close to the ruins in order to lay claim to the find, so it falls to you to bring her rag-tag group back together for one last caper and a final big pay-off.
Burntof is an old dwarf with a penchant for demolition, Checkal is a well-built lifter of heavy things and Marley is a cunning thief with a knack for disarming traps. Together, they have the talents it will take to gain entry to the secret ruins. But persuading them might not be easy. See, the gang aren't all too keen on working with Willow again, and her intentions might not be as honourable as she claims... |

Walkthrough
- Before starting, set the Grouping menu to teleport to Soul Wars, but do NOT teleport yet.
- Talk to Willow. …
1 Yes. - Make sure to spacebar through almost the whole conversation, otherwise the quest will not progress. Once Willow says "Lastly, if my hunch is correct, this place will be covered in traps," you will need to press spacebar once more, and then immediately run off to Falador.
- Go to the Rising Sun Inn in Falador.
- Buy an Asgarnian ale from Kaylee. …
1 One Asgarnian Ale, please. - Do NOT buy from Emily, as the pathing when clicking her can send you to the outside of the building.
- Use the Asgarnian ale on Burntof, and choose any option in the game of rock paper scissors. …
1 1 1 - Cast Home teleport.
- Run to the kitchen and grab a knife and bowl, and fill the bowl at the sink.
- Run west to the Draynor market.
- Drink a sip of Stamina potion at the start, since you will be running a lot.
- Purchase a Chronicle and a teleport card from Diango.
- Use the teleport card on the Chronicle.
- Run west to Port Sarim.
- Run to Wydin's Food Store and purchase 5 raw beef, then 2+ pots of flour.
- Bread has an 89.45% cook rate, and cooked meat has a 94.53% cook rate. There isn't enough money to buy 5 pots of flour.
- Use the Chronicle teleport.
- While running to Charlie the Tramp, use the bowl of water on a pot of flour.
- Speak to Charlie the Tramp south of the Varrock Swordshop. …
2 I'm looking for a man named Marley. Have you seen him? - Speak to the cook in the east room of Blue Moon Inn in Varrock. …
1 I was wondering if you'd be able to make me a Steak sandwich? - Use the range near the cook to cook your bread and meat.
- If you burned the bread, use the house in west Edgeville to refill your bowl and cook a new bread.
- Use the Grouping menu to teleport to Soul Wars.
- Use the portal there to travel to Edgeville.
- While running to the Edgeville ruins, create a steak sandwich by using the knife on the cooked meat. Also take a sip of the stamina potion.
- Use the steak sandwich on Marley and finish the dialogue.
- Run south to Barbarian Village.
- Speak to Checkal in Barbarian Village near the pottery oven building.
- Grab the bronze pickaxe in the room with the spinning wheel (not the potter's wheel).
- Speak to Atlas in The Long Hall tavern in Barbarian Village and complete the (very long) training montage. …
1 Yes. - This cutscene does not require any interaction until after the screen fades to white after ~2 minutes.
- Stand near Checkal and use the Flex emote, then finish the dialogue.
- Go to the entrance of the Ruins of Camdozaal, at the west side of the Ice Mountain, and talk to Willow (dungeon icon on minimap). …
1 Yes. - Take a sip of stamina potion while running. Also equip the pickaxe.
- After the cutscene, kill the level 25 Ancient Guardian by mining the 4 pillars in the corners.
- Simply mining all four pillars will be fast enough to get platinum.
- To slightly speed up the kill, alternate between attacking the Ancient Guardian and mining a pillar.
- Equip the bronze pickaxe, set it to Smash, and activate Superhuman Strength and Improved Reflexes.
- Attacking will set your skilling timer favourably to allow you to mine the pillar in fewer than 5 ticks rather than 8 ticks.
- Complete the final cutscene.
