The bartender of the Dragon Inn plays a small role in the quest Zogre Flesh Eaters, where the players must show him the Dragon Inn tankard in order to learn that it once belonged to the late Brentle Vahn. He also features in Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl, where he sells the player a Fire Brandy for 12 coins.

Additionally, it appears that the bartender is knowledgeable about the gossip of Yanille and its community, as he seems well acquainted with the gossip thereof. As such, during the quest he is able to reveal the whereabouts of Brentle prior to his "disappearance", and signs a portrait of Sithik Ints to verify his identity.

As with all bartenders, he of course sells various alcoholic beverages. dragon bitter, greenman's ale and beer are all available for purchase, however the player has to navigate through some dialogue trees.

He is the husband of Madame Caldarium and father of Balnea, who players meet during the quest As a First Resort in RuneScape 3.[1]
