Alfred Grimhand, the barbarian bartender, was an NPC encountered after the 2022 Christmas event in The Nutcracker pub. Like the waiters, players can obtain light beer, eggnog, and mulled pine by talking to him or right-clicking the "Get-drink" option.

If players have completed the miniquest Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl, the player will realise that he is Alfred Grimhand, the originator of the aptly named barcrawl, which involves travelling across Gielinor to consume various grotesque alcholic beverages. Alfred was the first to successfully accomplish this barcrawl,^[1] though he tells players that it was originally a prank for new recruits.^[2]

• As revealed by Santa's scribe, all of Santa's employees at The Nutcracker are dead, but were given the opportunity by Santa to stick around, with their mortal bodies being sustained by his magic. This means that Alfred Grimhand himself is also dead.^[3]
