World border

With the addition of the Sailing skill, players are able to sail their boat towards the borders of the known world map of Gielinor. As far as visible, nothing lies beyond these borders except noticeably darker seas.

Should the player reach a world border, the message The seas here are dangerous. You cannot sail any further this way. will be shown in chat, repeating every three seconds (five ticks) while the player stays near the border. After the message is displayed four times, the screen will violently start to shake and a sound can be heard.
