Scorched notes can be found in the Wyrmscraig Cavern, written by the dragonkin Orthacas.
The first note is found by searching the stalagmite just north of the mining site in Wyrmscraig Cavern.
The second note is found by searching the bones past the lava strykewyrms in the southern part of the Cavern.
The third note has a rare chance to be obtained by mining nickel rocks in the cavern.

I am yet to truly understand quite what this rock is, or in truth, where it originated. Perhaps I was foolish to abandon yet another project to track it down, but the image of its fall remains stuck in my thoughts and I, Orthacas, dare to dream.
Further, more focused study of the fallen star has lead me to a startling discovery: It appears to have regenerative qualities that I've only managed to replicate in part before. Now, I can't get ahead of myself. Stone is not by nature the same as flesh, but if I can even take a small aspect of this and incorporate it into a new breed of wyrm, I can prove my work was worth its while.
Another failure. I can't seem to make any functional use out of this star stone in regards to a new breed of wyrms. It has inspired me, but my patience runs thin for its practicalities. I am not unfamiliar with setbacks though, so I shall maintain the course whilst I remain undisturbed, save for the goats. Fortunately they provide excellent sustenance to this fledgling brood of wyrms.
