A rune pouch note is an item that can be purchased at Justine's stuff for the Last Shopper Standing for 75 Last Man Standing points. It can be used on a banker, Grand Exchange Clerk, or bank booth/chest in exchange for a rune pouch.

As players cannot own more than one rune pouch, rune pouch notes can act as backup pouches should the player lose their rune pouch. In addition, they are tradeable, whereas rune pouches themselves are not.

• This item was added because of a mistake made in a content poll. The question "should the rune pouch be tradeable?" passed the poll, but if the rune pouch were to become tradeable, then it would have made it possible to own more than one rune pouch at a time, which the mechanics of the rune pouch do not allow for. To rectify this, the tradeable rune pouch note was introduced instead.
• The phrase "[...] promises to pay the bearer on demand..." is based on the declaration found on British pound sterling banknotes.
• The note refers to the "Bank of RuneScape" even though it was renamed the Bank of Gielinor.
