The Bank of Gielinor, previously the Bank of RuneScape, is the organisation that administrates the function of every bank, deposit box, bank chest, etc. in Gielinor. It was originally known as the Bank of Varrock because that was its only location; however, it eventually expanded and underwent a name change. It is made up of various branches both on Gielinor and on other planes.

Banks renamed from "Bank of RuneScape" to "Bank of Gielinor".

Trivia

  • According to Eniola, the Bank of Gielinor is a neutral party, willing to offer their services to anyone regardless of affiliation.[1]
  • According to the Bank Camel, bankers use a special type of portal magic in order to access one's banked items.[2]
  • In temporary game modes, items such as the banker's note and banker's briefcase could be obtained, which supposedly belong to employees of the Bank of Gielinor and have the capabilities of noting and unnoting items as well as granting the ability to teleport to any bank, respectively.
