Pristine spider silk is an item dropped by Sarachnis, which can be combined with the herb sack to create a silklined herb sack, which gives an increased storage capacity.

There are no additional level requirements or items needed in order to upgrade the herb sack, and it does not need to be emptied prior to doing so.

Extra sheets of pristine spider silk can be given to Brother Aimeri in exchange for a grubby key. This requires starting the miniquest In Search of Knowledge, by healing him with five pieces of food (must be meat, fish, or vegetables).
