Several Egg sacs can be found in Sarachnis' lair within the Forthos Dungeon. They resemble giant egg sacs. Unlike the empty sacs that can also be found nearby, these sacs do contain eggs. Players cannot interact with the sacs, only examine them.

• The examine text is the verbatim message that is given upon checking the status of a Pokémon egg that will hatch soon in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
