Brother Aimeri is a travelling monk found south of the Spider's Den in the Forthos Dungeon, by the entrance to Sarachnis' lair. Travelling from the Kingdom of Varlamore, he came to the temple to uncover its secrets, believing Ralos, the god of the sun in which most people from Varlamore follow, may have originated from there.

Initially injured, he must be healed with five pieces of food (must be meat, fish, or vegetables) in order to begin the miniquest In Search of Knowledge, as well as giving information about the temple itself, and players can use various items they may obtain on him to discover their use.

Brother Aimeri will take any spare pristine spider silks and exchange them for a grubby key.

• During the dialogue in which the player asks who he is after healing him, he says that he hopes he and the player can uncover the secrets of the dungeon for the greater good, to which the player responds "The greater good". This is a reference to the British film Hot Fuzz.
