Monlum, the Mining tutor, is a tutor who teaches players how to mine certain ores and what pickaxes they can use at certain levels.
He will hand players a bronze pickaxe if they do not have one in their inventory or bank.

- Upon completion of The Lost Tribe quest, the Mining tutor's dialogue is updated to inform the player about the new Dorgesh-Kaan mining spots available to the player.
