The financial advisor was a man found in the Tutorial Island's bank. He taught players about ways to make money. He told you that there were three basic ways of making money in Old School RuneScape:
- Combat, by picking up monster drops.
- Quests, by receiving their rewards.
- Trading with other players.
He said that he had to run through it quickly so you wouldn't get much out of him.
As he was not deemed useful, he was fired and replaced by the Account Guide in an update on 18 October 2018, although they both share the same appearance.
