Paul the Ironman tutor is found on Tutorial Island, and teaches new players about Ironman Mode. He can change the player's Ironman status freely before they leave Tutorial Island. Another Ironman tutor, Adam, is found in Lumbridge and can help players downgrade or lock their Ironman status once off Tutorial Island.

The player may also choose to create a Group Ironman with other players when selecting their Ironman status. Paul will then instruct the player to continue to the tutorial and visit The Node.

The menu for selecting the mode the player wishes to play.

(Update)

Paul and Adam were renamed to "Iron Man tutor", although their original names were retained within the dialogue. Due to a bug, Paul referred to himself as "Name".

Trivia

  • Paul is a reference to the Old School RuneScape content creator Faux, who is known for his Ironman video content.[1]
