Karamel is fought during the Recipe for Disaster quest. She is the counterpart of Kamil (from Desert Treasure I) and is very similar to the original.

She can be fought in the Nightmare Zone after the quest is complete.

Karamel is weakest to magic. While not as accurate, ranged and melee are still effective. If using magic, be warned that Karamel's magic attack will drain your stats, potentially putting you below the level required to cast your spells. In addition to the stat drain, this attack will also briefly stun you and reduce your run and special attack energies to 0. The use of stat-restoring or boosting potions is highly recommended for this fight.

If you are a low level player, DO NOT underestimate her magic attacks, as they can hit rapid 7s. The best way to avoid damage is to run up into melee range, where she will prioritise using her ranged attack instead.

Note: The player cannot use Prayer in this boss fight or any other Recipe for Disaster boss fight.

Note: Although spells such as Iban Blast do not work on Kamil, they can be very effective versus Karamel.

• Karamel means Caramel in several languages, including, but not limited to: German, Dutch, Hungarian, Danish, Turkish, Czech, Slovak, Slovene, and Swedish.
• Karamel’s ranged attack uses the same attack animation as Karil's crossbow.
• Karamel shouts "Semolina-go!" when using her magic attack, which is a play on Kamil's shout "Sallamakar Ro!" and a type of flour called semolina, which can be used to make pudding, among other dishes.
