Head trophy space is a hotspot in the Skill Hall of a player-owned house that is only visible to the player when in building mode. Players can use this trophy space to mount stuffed trophy heads earned from Slayer monster drops.

Monster heads that have been stuffed by the Taxidermist can be added to displays whilst in building mode. Each display can show trophies of its tier in addition to the ones of the previous tier; for example, the mahogany display can still be used to show off the basilisk, but not the King Black Dragon.

Mounted trophies are saved per account, and are shared between all other trophy displays in a house. Duplicate heads can be added for additional experience, provided that the player has stuffed them and are in building mode.

When mounting superlative trophies on a gilded display, players will be notified that combat experience will be given, and are given the option to accept or decline them before mounting them.

• When talked to, the mounted trophy uses an NPC object as its dialogue box chathead, taking the model of a grey and black cat. This is not seen ingame.
  • The NPC's examine text "And with its head he came galumphing back" is a reference to the Jabberwocky poem from Alice Through the Looking-Glass.
