Ducklings are smaller versions of ducks found swimming in the pond north-west of Lumbridge, by Farmer Fred's farm, and in the western wing of the Farming Guild. They will only follow female ducks. Occasionally, the female duck will say: Quack?, to which any following ducklings respond with: Eep!. If the female duck they're following is killed, the ducklings will say: Cheep cheep!, followed by: Eep! and attempt to swim away.
