Zulrah Speed-Runner is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to kill Zulrah in less than 54 seconds without having it assigned as a slayer task.
Strategy
As a fast speed-kill achievement, the player will want to use thralls, and all damage-boosting equipment and prayers available for both ranged and magic. Any hits that would deal over 50 damage to Zulrah will be reduced to 45-50 damage; however, this only applies to individual hitsplats, meaning a special attack from a weapon such as the crystal halberd will work around this damage cap.
Tumeken's shadow is recommended for Zulrah's ranged and melee forms (as the player will be very accurate despite the high Magic level, due to no Magic defence); for the mage form, a toxic blowpipe with dragon darts is recommended for rapid hits, in part due to the faster attack speed and Zulrah's damage cap. Vengeance can also be useful in rebounding damage back at Zulrah, provided that no Snakelings are present in the arena. As a finisher, the player can use a dark bow with dragon arrows, to expend special attack energy.
Alternatively, Oathplate armour in conjunction with a Noxious halberd and a Crystal halberd for special attacks may be used, as Zulrah possesses no additional melee defence. Furthermore an Eclipse atlatl can be brought to attack Zulrah for when Venom Clouds hinder you from getting close to Zulrah.
Players may cast Vengeance on themselves before the fight begins, then use Spellbook Swap to switch to the Arceuus spellbook to summon a thrall. At level 99 Magic, the thrall will last for the entire fight. Players may then use Vengeance whenever available to maximize reflected damage.
