Worm crunchies are a food that players consume in one bite, healing 8 hitpoints. Players may need to make one as part of Training part I for the Gnome Restaurant minigame. Premade w'm crun' are sold by gnome waiters in the north-west corner of the 1st floor of the Grand Tree for 85 coins, with 3 in stock.
Members can make worm crunchies via gnome cooking with 14 Cooking, yielding 104 experience. Like all gnome foods, they stop burning at Cooking level 38.
This food is an order in the Gnome Restaurant minigame and may also be obtained by completing an order through a Gnome restaurant Reward token. Like all gnome cooking, premade versions cannot be used in the minigame.
Gianne dough, crunchy trays, equa leaves, and gnome spice can be bought from the Gnome Cook named Hudo who is located in the north-west corner the 1st floor of the Grand Tree. While king worms are not sold, they may be found in the swamp north-west of the Grand Tree, in the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
Cookbook Recipe
This is the direct recipe found in Gianne's cook book:
Using a crunchie tray, form a portion of Gianne dough into small evenly sized balls. Heat these briefly in an oven. Mix into the dough balls two king worms, one sprig of equa leaves and a shake of gnome spices. Bake the crunchies for a short time in the oven. Sprinkle generously with gnome spices to finish.
Crunchies were invented accidentally by Pukkamay, who was Deelie's assistant, before his sacking. He started a successful crunchie making business before dying in a bizarre Terrorbird accident.
