Strong winds are an ocean encounter encountered while sailing that can be used to boost the speed of a boat. While under the effect of strong winds, a boat's sails can be trimmed up to 4 times rapidly for additional speed and Sailing experience (depending on the mast and sails tier). This can be done even if the sails are already trimmed before encountering the strong winds.
