Skraelings, or Skraelingjar are the warriors that guard Miscellania. If you fail to steal from a stall the Miscellania market, they will say: "Get your hands off there!" and attack you.

If you kill them in Miscellania, your popularity rating will decrease, in contrast with the Skraelings in Etceteria.

• Skraelings may be based off real life Skrælingjar, the name given by the Norse Greenlanders to the Thule people, an Inuit tribe that wandered the arctic.
• Despite their appearance as warriors, Skraelings are strangely weak, possessing one of the lowest combat levels in the game and only 1 Hitpoint.
