Messengers are NPCs who deliver messages to players who have completed quests, informing them of recent updates and new content.

They were first used to deliver Maisa's message to players who had completed the Beneath Cursed Sands quest prior to 24 August 2022. They appeared randomly near the player to deliver the message, indicating the beginning of the Into the Tombs miniquest. Players who have completed Beneath Cursed Sands after 24 August 2022 will simply be able to begin the miniquest by entering the Jaltevas Pyramid.

The same messengers were again used to deliver the Varlamore invitation to players who had completed Children of the Sun, inviting them to the Kingdom of Varlamore.

The same messengers were again used to deliver Elias' message to players who are eligible to begin The Curse of Arrav.
