The maple blackjack is a members only melee weapon mainly used to lure/knockout NPCs. Level 30 Thieving is required to wield this weapon. To obtain one, the player must have started The Feud quest by talking to Ali Morrisane.

There are three NPCs that can be knocked out: Villagers, Bandits and Menaphite Thugs, all located in Pollnivneach. While there is no level requirement to knock out a villager, the Bandits require level 45 Thieving (or 55 for scimitar wielding ones), and the Menaphite Thugs level 65 Thieving. When fighting with a blackjack, there is a slight chance to stun the opponent.

First, the player uses the Lure function of the blackjack to lead the unsuspecting NPC to a remote place, and can then knock out the NPC. Once unconscious, the player can pickpocket the victim.

With the speed of a dagger and a strength bonus of +20, the maple blackjack is a viable weapon for a 1 Attack pure.
