Icy pools are encountered during the boss fight with Amoxliatl. During the fight, spikes are formed after Amoxliatl's regular attack, dealing typeless damage. An icy pool will form in the tile the player was on before the attack; standing on one will deal moderate damage every tick. She will also create ice blocks which will create 3x3 icy pools if not destroyed first.
