Fire fighter is a master combat achievement which requires the player to defeat Yama without getting hit by fire and having only killed Void Flares with special attacks.
Strategy
The achievement requires that the player avoid the following:
- Taking damage from magic attacks off-prayer
- Taking damage from fire-based special attacks in phases 1 and 2
- Taking damage from Fire Streaks
- Taking damage from the Judge of Yama's fire spells and fire bombs
Void flares can be attacked normally, but must be killed with a special attack. The typical purging staff strategy works well here: with Mark of Darkness active and at least 20% magic damage bonus, cast Dark Demonbane on a void flare once, then use the purging staff's special attack to finish it off.
Alternatively, players can deal with void flares that spawn during phases 1 and 2 by using the corresponding glyphs to avoid having to attack the void flare, or by simply ignoring them, as taking damage from void flares does not fail the achievement.
In a duo fight, a player failing this achievement will not cause their partner to fail.
