The earthen shield is a protective area that spawns during the fight against Doom of Mokhaiotl upon destroying two volatile earth, serving as protection from the Doom's shockwave. It will spawn at the location of the second volatile earth hit and move towards the first, prioritising diagonal movement before moving cardinally towards its destination. The centre tile of the shield will also remove acid blood if present in its path.

  • Permanent rocks from the Rock Throw attack will no longer appear if the player is struck by it whilst under the protection of the earthen shield.
  • The centre tile of the earthen shield will now remove any acid blood in its path.

(Update) 		Hotfix

The protective effects offered by the earthen shield will now last one tick longer.
